The Miss Cama’i Cultural Pageant
takes place on Saturday and is a day-long event.

Miss Cama’i is a cultural ambassador whose mission is to build leadership and increase community involvement among people of the YK Delta and beyond.

    • ⅛ Alaska Native or a member of a federally recognized Tribe

    • Will acknowledge, accept and sign a sobriety and drug-free pledge

    • Must be 18-30 Years of Age by July 10, 2025

    • Never been married or have dependents

    • Personal Interview

    • Essay Response

    • Candidates assist with the Elder and Community Dinner

    • Candidates will also participate in a photoshoot!

  • Applications Due no later than 1pm

    • 1:00 PM Miss Cama’i Organizational Meeting

    • 2:00 PM Personal Interview

    • 4:00 PM Assist with Elder and Community Dinner

    • 9:40 PM Introduction to the Cama’i Dance Festival Crowd

    • 11:00 PM Winner Announced

    • TBA: Photoshoot

The Miss Cama'i winner will be announced Saturday evening.

Please submit your application as soon as possible or bring with you on Saturday, March 29 (due by 1pm).

We will meet at the Cama’i Headquarters at 1PM before starting the day (Required for all applicants).
