Miss Cama-i Cultural Pageant

Applications will be due by
Saturday, March 16th at 1:00 pm

Applications can be picked up at
the Cama-i Headquarters (BRHS Bandroom)
on Friday, March 15th

Miss Cama-i is a cultural ambassador whose mission is to build leadership and increase community involvement among people of the YK Delta and beyond.

The Miss Cama-i Cultural Pageant
takes place on Saturday March 16, 2024
and is a day-long event.

Judging is based on:
• Personal Interview (2PM Saturday)

• Essay Response

• Candidates also assist with the Elder
and Community Dinner (4PM Saturday)

• Introduction to the Cama-i Dance Festival
Crowd (9:25PM Saturday)

• Participants will also participate
in a photoshoot!

Qualifications include:
• ⅛ Alaska Native or a member of a
federally recognized Tribe

• Will acknowledge, accept and sign a
sobriety and drug-free pledge

• Must be 18-30 Years of Age by
July 10, 2024

• Never been married or have dependents

Applications can be picked up at the Cama-i Headquarters (BRHS Bandroom) on Friday, March 15. Please either submit as soon as possible or bring with you on Saturday, March 16! We will meet at the Cama-i Headquarters at 1PM before starting the day.

Please return completed applications to Kelsey Wallace (907) 799-6149 or bring the application with you to the Cama-i Headquarters meeting at 1PM on Saturday.
